Sacred Resonance - Rainbow Serpent 2010

SACRED RESONANCE LIVE RAINBOW SERPENT BIO and INFO

Duo from South Australia - Darren Curtis and Bradley Pitt set up Sacred Resonance through visionary thinking and higher experience of the sacred, incorporating new media of biofeedback and immersive entrainment through sonic and visual design.

Their live performance uses laptop, coding, atmospheric vocals and synthesiser through merging of electronic soundscapes and visual patterns, that are rephased, reblended and taken out of their phase-time sequence, designed to help the listener connect to higher-consciousness. This is done through specific frequencies aligned with sacred temples, sites and higher thought forms.

RAINBOW SERPENT - Sacred Resonance Live

We will be performing live at Rainbow Serpent in the full dome.

LIGHT WORKERS CRYSTAL MANDALA AND LIGHT TEMPLE

At the heart of every tribe exists the crystal matrix of consciousness. The Crystal Mandala represents the physical aspect of the collective consciousness within the Rainbow Serpent Tribe.

Sacred Resonance:

Duo from South Australia - Darren Curtis and Bradley Pitt set up Sacred Resonance through visionary thinking and higher experience of the sacred incorporating new media of biofeedback and immersive entrainment through sonic and visual design.

Live Performance:

Their live performance uses laptop, coding, atmospheric vocals and synthesiser through merging of electronic soundscapes and visual patterns, that are re-phased, re-blended and taken out of their phase-time sequence, designed to help the listener connect to higher consciousness. This is done through specific frequencies aligned with sacred temples, sites and higher thought forms.

About the Festival:

The Rainbow Serpent Festival has come a long way in 10 years. From a small gathering in a secluded clearing, to an internationally recongnised, multifaceted weekend of dance, colour, expression and celebration. People now travel from all over the world to Western Victoria to experience what some have said is the best outdoor festival of it’s type in the Southern Hemisphere.

For many of the 7,000 plus people that attend each year, Rainbow has become an institution, and annual reunion, a marker in the year that’s looked forward to for months in advance. For others it’s a fresh discovery of opportunity and escapism, a chance to connect with like minded individuals and to celebrate nature, community and harmony.

No longer just an electronic music festival these days you can expect to experience a unique combination of music, art, performance, spiritual education, relaxation and healing. "While dancing their Dreamings, aborigines spiritually connect themselves to the land and to the Dreamtime. The drumming of feet during the dance draws the earth into dialogue with the dancers, allowing the ceremony to bring the power of the Dreaming to life." The name Rainbow Serpent is distinctly Australian, coming from the Dreamtime creation story told by the traditional owners of the land. Dreamtime stories often vary between aboriginal tribes, however the story of the Rainbow Serpent is special as it is one of the few common to all. The Rainbow Serpent is protector of the land, and the source of all life.

2009 Parliament of the World's Religions - ULTIMA LIVE

Hi all,

I have been asked to perform live music for a spiritual gathering at the, 2009 Parliament of the World's Religions in Melbourne, Victoria [every 4 years / 8,10,000 delegates]. We are booked in for three days and are working with leaders in Spirituality and Future Science from the USA.

OVERVIEW:

The Council for a Parliament of the World's Religions was created to cultivate harmony among the world's religious and spiritual communities and foster their engagement with the world and its guiding institutions in order to achieve a just, peaceful and sustainable world

First held in Chicago in 1893, the Parliament of the World’s Religions brings together the world’s religious and spiritual communities, their leaders and their followers to a gathering where peace, diversity and sustainability are discussed and explored in the context of interreligious understanding and cooperation.

OVERVIEW MUSIC:

Using 'Live' Software with real time recording on the fly, samples of streams and rivers, harmonic toning, sacred chants from the ancient Hebrew (Kabbalah) that help raise consciousness and bring peace and harmony.

Here is an image of one of the samples I used and the live set I worked with.

Nadaum Live - Full Dome Visuals and Space Music (c) 2009 Sacred Resonance

(c) 2009 Sacred Resonance - Nadaum Experiment > Oct 24th 2009 @ Adelaide Planetarium!

Nadaum Music Overview Part 4

The idea behind part 4 of Nadaum Experiment was working with a samples of space sounds that relate to the projected visuals.

i.e Earth Biosphere = earth hum > Chorus waves in Earth's magnetosphere are generated in the Van Allen radiation belts or earth audio frequency electromagnetic waves produced by lightning called - whistlers. Solar Sounds from the sun = Sounds of solar oscillations http://solar-center.stanford.edu/singing/SOUNDS/ I also used aurora sounds and other sounds from Jupiter and Saturn.

Next I used software 'Live' and placed all samples into their tracks. I thought it would be a great idea to apply effects like reverb, flangers, phasers, panners and resonators that would emulate an artifical space effect of deep space. By this I mean Sounds in space would not sound the same and allowing a filtering effect I was able to make beat sampels of pulsars and warm ambient pads of sounds from space.

Overall was great to work in 'Live' and using real sounds from space.
